Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
1.5 cup Maida
2 tbsp Oil
According to taste Salt
Big Pinch Meetha sodha
0.25 cup Hot water to knead
For filling
2 tbsp Oil
1 Onionfinelly (chopped)
1 cup Mushrooms hopped very finely
1 tsp Ginger- garlic paste
1 Carrot grated thickly and squeezed
0.5 Capsicum chopped finely
1 cup Cabbage finely chooped
2 tbsp Green coriander
According to taste salt
0.25 tsp peppr
1 tsp Red chilli sauce
1 tsp vineger

    Add oil and mix well to get a crumbly mixture

    Knead with enough warm water to make a stiff dough of rolling consistency, as thet of puris. Knead till smooth and elastic.

    Heat oil in a knead for the filling. Add the chopped onion. Fry till it turns soft.

    Add carrot, capsicum & ginger garlic paste.

    Mix well and add cabbage. Stir fry on high flame for 3 minutes.

    Remove from fire and keep the filling aside.

    From the dough make balls and rolls as thin as possible on the kitchen platform dusted with some flour.

    Cut with a big katori, to make about 3-4 inch rounds. Roll out the edge to make them thin.

    Put 1 heaped tbsp of the filling. Pick up one sides into loose folds like frills and keep pressing each fold to the other side

    Make all momos and keep aside.

    Place the momos in a greased steamer and steam for 8 minutes. Remove from steamer and store covered in a casserole.
