Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
For the Koftas:
0.5 cup aloo (boiled and grated)
4 tbsp carrots (grated)
4 tbsp cabbage (grated)
0.25 cup paneer (grated)
1 tsp Ginger (grated)
0.25 tsp garlic (minced)
0.25 tsp Ajwain
2 slices bread soaked in water and squeezed nicely
According to taste Pepper
According to taste Salt
For the kofta filling:
2 tbsp kaju (chopped)
2 tbsp badam (chopped)
2 tbsp kishmish (chopped)
1.5 tsp processed cheese (chopped into very small cubes)
1 tsp dhania leaves (chopped finely)
For the gravy:
0.5 cup Onions (chopped roughly)
1.50 cup tomato (chopped roughly)
.50 tsp Garlic Paste
0.5 cup tomato puree
0.5 cup Water
1 tbsp Cashews soaked in a little water
0.50 tsp Zeera Powder
0.50 tsp Dhania Powder
0.50 tsp Chilli Powder
0.50 tsp black pepper
0.50 tsp Garam Masala
0.50 tsp Salt
1 tsp kitchen king masala

    For the Koftas:

    Combine all the ingredients for koftas and mix nicely and mash

    In a separate bowl, combine all the ingredients for the filling and mix nicely

    Divide the Kofta mix and divide into 8 equal balls

    Take a ball and flatten it with your palms. Place a tsp of the prepared filling in the centre and make a Kofta, giving any shape you desire. Keep aside.

    Similarly make the remaining 7 koftas. Make sure the edges are sealed properly. Keep in fridge for 10 minutes

    Make a paste with 2 tbsp cornflour and 5 tbsp water. Dip each kofta in the cornflour mix and deep fry till golden in colour

    For the gravy:

    Heat oil in a deep pan. Add garlic and onion. Saute till brown in colour

    In a blender, blend the tomatoes and the sauted onion and garlic mix to a smooth paste

    Make a paste of the soaked cashews

    Now put the mixture back in the same pan. Add all the spices except garam masala, tomato puree till oil seperates

    Now add the cashew paste and water and let simmer for another 8-10 minutes. Sprinkle Garam masala on top.

    Add koftas to the gravy and simmer for 3-4 minutes.

    Serve hot, garnished with cream and dhania leaves
