Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
150 gm Kala Chana
1.5 Onions chopped
4 cloves Garlic chopped
0.5 Ginger chopped
0.5 tbsp Lemon juice
1 green chilli
2 tsp coriander leaves chopped
0.33 tsp Red Chilli Powder
0.33 tsp Garam Masala
accordimg to taste Salt
Whole Spices:
1 cloves
0.5 bay leaf
.25 cinnamon stick
1 black elaichi
1 green elaichi
pinch of nutmeg powder
0.33 tsp zeera
3 whole red chillies
0.5 tsp sabut kali mirch
For the stuffing:
2 tsp mint leaves chopped finely
2 Green Chillies chopped finely
.25 Ginger chopped finely
1 Onions chopped finely
40 gm raw mangoes chopped finely
according to taste Salt

    For the Kababs:

    Soak the kala channa overnight. Peel and dice the onion and garlic

    Place all the whole spices in a muslin cloth and tie like a potli

    Wash the kala chanas thoroughly and put in a pressure cooker. Add the chopped onion, garlic, ginger, salt and spice bag. Add water, filling an inch over the channas

    Pressure cook for 15 minutes

    Remove from heat. Take out the spice mix and blend to a smooth paste

    Grind the black channas in a grinder, making a smooth paste. Add the ground spice mix, and all the remaining ingredients, except for the ones mentioned under stuffing

    For the stuffing:

    Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and keep aside

    For Making the kababs:

    Divide the black chana mix into 12 equal portion balls

    Take each ball in your hands and shape like a patty. Place a little stuffing in the centre and bring together the edges to form the patty, giving any shape you desire

    Heat oil in a pan, and cook the patties from all sides, till crisp
