FASTING KASHMIRI DUM ALOO

Peel and prick the cooled potatoes all over with a tooth pick.

Heat oil and deep fry 2-3 potatoes at a time to a rich golden brown colour.

Heat 4tbsp oil. Add laung and saboot kali mirch. Fry for 1 minute.

Add red chilli powedr. Fry for ½ minute.Simmer the flame and add 1cup water and curd

Add all other ingredients and the fried potatoes.

Cover and simmer till very little gravy remains and oil floats on top.
Serve hot.
