Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
For the masala powder:
6 sabut lal mirch
2 tbsp dhania seeds
2 tbsp zeera
2 tsp moti saunf
1.5 tsp red sarso seeds
0.5 tsp methi dana
For the puree:
2 large tomato (chopped roughly)
1 capsicum (chopped roughly)
Other Ingredients:
4 tbsp Oil
1 tsp kalongi
0.5 tsp hing
1 gtsp ginger paste
1 tsp Green chilli paste
0.75 tsp haldi
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1.5 tsp whisked curd
1 tsp Sugar
1.5 kg paneer cut into cubes

    For the masala powder:

    Put all the masalas in a pan and dry roast them.

    Roast till the spices start spluttering a little

    Take off flame and transfer to a grinder. Let it cool

    Grind to a fine powder and keep aside

    For the Puree:

    In a grinder mix the tomatoes and capsicum and grind to a fine puree.

    Transfer the puree to a bowl and add ½ cup water to it. Keep aside.

    For the Achari Paneer:

    In a pan, heat the oil

    Add kalonji and hing. Saute a little

    Add the ginger paste and green chilli paste. Saute for 2 minutes

    Add the haldi, and lal mirch powder. Saute for another 2 minutes

    Now add the puree. Saute for 5-6 minutes

    Add the prepared masala powder and saute for 4-5 minutes, till the gravy becomes slightly darker in colour

    Now add the sugar. Turn off the flame and let it cool

    Add the whisked curd. Mix well and let it cook for another 4-5 minutes, till oil seperates

    Now add the paneer pieces and let it boil. Take off flame and serve hot with bread of your choice
